About
Thank you for taking the time to visit our web site.
My name is Debby Evans and I am a residential landscape designer, specializing in innovative garden settings.
As a designer, my passion is to integrate the physical aspects of a project with respect for the environment we live in. The spirit of the places we call “home” are both unique and often times fragile. Just think about a storm, high wind, let alone a flood or an earthquake. These natural events demonstrate all too clearly that our homes and our gardens are subject to the laws of nature. How we cooperate with climate, soil, native and non-native plantings matters to the success or failure of our gardens.
It is a great honor to discover the essence of my clients own particular landscape and personal tastes, and interests. Putting it all together to create meaningful and purposeful gardens improves our personal environment. That may simply be the addition of shade trees and updated planter beds, or full scale Master Plans. It is all a joy to me!
A big part of my concern for our landscapes — is education. Please check out our Articles page. I frequently add short, informative articles with seasonal information, suggestions on many topics related to design, the latest information and resources related to plants, pests, and products to help your gardening experiences. Below is a listing of a few of recent posts.

As time permits, I work with the Master Gardener Association and have enjoyed teaching at the California School of Garden Design. I am available to speak to local civic and community groups and I am a contributor to our local Folsom – El Dorado Hills Style Magazine. I serve the greater Sacramento area as well as the foothill communities of Cameron Park, Rescue, Shingle Springs, and Placerville.
I am a proud member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers and it is a commitment of mine to continually research and educate myself – hopefully – to the benefit of my loyal clients!!
Again, thank you for visiting our site. We hope you come back often. And, if I may be of service to you and your landscape goals, challenges, or dreams, please contact me.
